The Westminster Abbey Walk

Since 1066, all but two of the English monarchs have been crowned in this, one of the most famous churches in the world. The Coronation Chair itself is on display. In recent times, the funerals of Diana, Princess of Wales, and Queen Elizabeth the Queen Mother were held here. Thirteen kings and fourteen queens are buried in the Abbey, including King Edward I (the King portrayed in the film Braveheart), King Henry VII (the first Tudor king, who commissioned the beautiful 16th century chapel in which his tomb is situated), and his grandchildren King Edward VI, Queen Mary, and Queen Elizabeth I. Mary Queen of Scots is also buried here, as are Sir Isaac Newton, George Frederick Handel, Charles Darwin, David Livingstone, William Gladstone, Charles Dickens, and many, many, more.
