By making a booking, the client is deemed to have accepted all the following terms and conditions.
- Tours start and finish at any location in central London, defined as the area bounded by the Circle Line of the London Underground. The availability and/or cost of tours starting and/or ending anywhere else is subject to negotiation.
- Prices quoted include the services of the guide - who will conduct the tour in English only - for the number of hours booked, or as amended by mutual agreement. Prices also include all associated motoring costs such as fuel and parking. Prices do not include refreshments, accommodation and admission charges.
- GUIDE FARADAY is fully insured to drive clients for hire and reward. Clients remain responsible for their own property, and their own safety, in all other respects.
- Clients may not eat or smoke in the car.
- Having confirmed a booking, GUIDE FARADAY will endeavour to meet clients at the time and place agreed, but under circumstances beyond the company's control (such as abnormally heavy traffic congestion) this may not be possible. In such cases, clients will be kept informed by telephone: hence the importance of the telephone number where the client can be reached at the time and place previously agreed. In extremely rare cases, for instance when weather conditions are such that the police advise the public not to drive unless absolutely necessary, the tour may be cancelled by GUIDE FARADAY at short notice, with no liability accepted, and no payment becoming due.
- Some tourist attractions, particularly privately owned ones, vary their opening hours or close parts of their property to visitors at short notice. Should this occur, GUIDE FARADAY accepts no liability.
- Payment is due at the end of each day's tour (but see below). Only cash (in Pounds Sterling), Visa and Mastercard are accepted. Once a booking has been agreed, if the client then cancels within 48 hours of the tour, or does not show up on the day, or otherwise declines the tour, the minimum tour amount, namely £180, will be payable.
- For airport pick-ups, payment is due on arrival at the client's central London address. If the client's plane arrives late, an additional charge of £30 per hour will be made in respect of every full hour of delay.
- For clients taking advantage of the airport transfer offer, as also for those taking a tour involving overnight stops outside London, there is a maximum overall luggage allowance of the equivalent of 2 large suitcases, or 3 medium-sized suitcases, or 4 small suitcases.
- Finally, whilst GUIDE FARADAY will make every effort to make the tour memorable and enjoyable for all clients, no guarantees can be given, and should this turn out not to be the case for any reason, no liability is accepted.
